Starter bass Facelift

I have a GSR200 that I rarely touched and decided to turn it into a project. :)

First things first, I'll put a link to a pic of what it used to look like below:

:crying:

Heres pictures of it after the paint job: :hyper: :) ;) :p

What i would still like to do to it:
-I would like to turn this thing into a passive bass, any suggestions on cheap but good pickups?
-Replace tuners for ones that will keep it in tune better
-Kahler tremolo (later on due to money restraints)
-strap locks

If anyone has any parts that they are willing to sell please post.

Passive means, without preamp.
Meaning you wire the pickups directly to the pots, and main output.
Other than that, way to spruce up an other fairly boring instrument! I've seen SOooooooooo many of those around..

It's all good, pal ;)

Since you have mentioned that you're looking to do this on the cheap, and you're looking for something to keep your strap on, this thread may be of interest to you:

Pretty nice paint job, BTW.

Thanks for the paint job comment, my dads been painting cars for the past 25 years so he lended a hand. and thanks for the thread on strap locks, i currently am using washers from home depot as strap locks but i dont trust them that much. I'm taking a trip to home depot later in the week anyways, ill see if I can pick them up.
