This unique cabinet is sort of a dual design. It's a hybrid 18" bass cabinet and/or 18" subwoofer cabinet. It includes a tripod mount on top incase you want to mount main speakers above it via a steel stand pole. It retains very smooth (port flutter free) deep bass response. More than anything it makes a very nice, full sounding subwoofer cabinet. If you would like to use it as a small subwoofer cabinet, you can certainly add a crossover which we have available. A good one to go with is the "CN-1 high power" which can handle up to 750 watts RMS and will cross the woofer over at 125hz. This is great for DJ's looking for a small yet high power subwoofer that can handle professional applications. As a bass cabinet, your talkin very punchy bottom end with the ability to handle anything you can throw at it.
