Stepped On a Rusty Nail

I've had a nail go all the way through my foot before. I was carrying some huge armoire with someone, and they tripped. I had to compensate to not drop the furniture, so I quickly moved a few feet to the side, slammed my foot down to get traction, and ended up stepping on a small rail post with a nail sticking out of it. The nail went through my shoe, sock, foot, other side of the sock, and other side of the shoe. My dad drove me to the ER.
"What are you here for?"
"Oh, I uh, have a headache. But this board stuck to me by the nail in my foot? Don't worry about that, I'll take care of that myself later"
