you've seen the juvenile "stereotype" threads where the same 3 people make inane comments over and over. I hope we can aim a little higher, and constrain our silliness to effects-related humor

I will start it off by stereotyping myself. If you want you can all just make fun of me instead but I think this should be amusing

let's keep it civil though, OK? Not looking to cook up any bad blood here.
