Thanks, Ace! Yes, it came with the tort pickguard.
Although, even if it hadn't, I probably would have swapped out the original pickguard for tort. I know that's not everyone's thing and I certainly have no problem with other types of pickguards. But I'm just a tort kind of guy!
You can probably also guess what kind of finish and what kind of strings I prefer on my Precisions, too, but I'm not going to open up THAT can of worms in this thread.

Perusing through this thread is making miss my old SR5’s. Nice basses fellas!
I get that not everyone likes tort pickguards and that’s fine with me. But I always smile when a non-fan sees my bass and second guesses their preference.

Ha!! I found the receipt for my first Stingray 5 string. March 1994
It was a 1989 Blueburst, with a Maple fingerboard. $650 including a HSC. I traded it in 2001 and RE-GRET-TED it! I walked into a local store, October 2017, and they had this 1988 Blueburst beauty hanging up.... I had to have it! No case and $400 more than my first, but worth it!

I was hoping you'd get the hint and post that picture! That's the one that got me started buying Ethos straps.
