Thanks, Ace! Yes, it came with the tort pickguard.

Although, even if it hadn't, I probably would have swapped out the original pickguard for tort. I know that's not everyone's thing and I certainly have no problem with other types of pickguards. But I'm just a tort kind of guy! :D



You can probably also guess what kind of finish and what kind of strings I prefer on my Precisions, too, but I'm not going to open up THAT can of worms in this thread. :laugh:

Ha!! I found the receipt for my first Stingray 5 string. March 1994 :D
It was a 1989 Blueburst, with a Maple fingerboard. $650 including a HSC. I traded it in 2001 and RE-GRET-TED it! I walked into a local store, October 2017, and they had this 1988 Blueburst beauty hanging up.... I had to have it! No case and $400 more than my first, but worth it!
