I am considering a Stingray 5 single H and play mostly country, southern rock. I currently gig with a EBMM 25th Anniversary HH. I am concerned about having enough low end. Anyone using a single H. All opinion are welcomed.

when i had mine, that bass lived in series mode. such a full, fat and punchy tone. it killed when playing with a pick.Series mode is where it's at for me! I've got one of my SR4's wired up in series basically trying to emulate what my SR5's do.

The low end is not an issue. The issue will be getting consistent volume across all strings. I love my Stingray, but the pickup design isn't very flexible. Having 2 pickups will help balance the individual string volume.
I've never understood this. I have a Stingray 5, a Ray 35, and played a handful of others and never had a problem with the G string. Ever.Stingrays are great except for the G string.
