looks great. what are gonna do about the decal for the headstock?

I'm actually going to call Ernie Ball Music Man and see if they'll send me a new one. I was considering having the pickup rewound and the preamp looked at, and they told me that 'as long as you have the original and/or the serial number, you're good'

time to start buffing! I found an old orbital automotive buffer, so that's what I use

Brings us to a nice shine

now I reassemble the old Ray and she looks mighty sweet!

I set out with a vision of "anything but teal" and am 100% satisfied!!

I am gonna grab a waterslide decal and pop it on there soon. I wanted to test my electronics out since they were the original issue that caused this bass to be put to pasture in the first plave
