Stingray SUB 5

Now here is my thought I have seen it an it suddenly clicked, is any one buying this as a true MM Stingray 5 string since the proper or original as you will Stingray 5 is more like a sterling 5?

Your thoughts people.

I've never tried one but i'm sure the SUB version would be more similar to the original 4 banger only with 5. Would love to hear peoples thrills or hates of this bass.

The Sterling Bass is, in actual fact, the 4 string version of a String Ray 5. (Per Dudley Gimpel...the guy who did it)

The SUB 5 is the four-string version of the SUB 4. Since the SUB 4 looks like the StingRay, so does the SUB 5.

The StingRay 5 should've been named Sterling 5.

Moniker debate aside, they're very good basses IMO.. I played one last weekend.
