Stomp-box repair recommendations?

I have an EBS Octa-Bass (the original gray one, with the input jack on the left side) which has been broken for years. I think I used a wrong-sized adapter plug for it and broke it, but I'm not sure. I tried to replace the jack myself but wasn't successful.

Anyway, I've been in correspondence with two places who both can fix it it. One is The Pedal Doctor in Tennessee, the other CJ Electronics in Texas.

Any direct experience with either of them?

Hmm, didn't consider them with them being in Sweden and all. I figured the shipping would be more than the pedal cost new. I just sent a note to their US distributor to see if there's anything they can do.

When I inquired with EBS about repairing a more recent-model pedal, the cost was indeed going to be higher than the cost of a used replacement.
