I'm going to have to listen to these later because for someone who doesn't know these bands it sounds like you're speaking french or something.

Edit: Or some new kind of street drugs... "Here man, take some Eve with some Ufomammut. It'll blow your freaking mind. And that fungus will make you trip balls."

I guess that'd make you a "DOOM dealer".

Ufomammut - Eve, kinda like a 60s/70s horror movie soundtrack with doom.

We put on the album and then a 70s horror movie on slow mo. Pretty sweet. Then I went and played in a thunderstorm. haha. Then I had 4 more hours to hang.

Oh and their Italian :)

Does french sound that weird for english speaking people ?

Anyway, my custom fuzz should be ready in 2 weeks. I'm starting to go crazy and dream about it T_T

If someone spoke like that to me... my first instinct would be to check to make sure someone didn't just smuggle me to Canada to steal my kidneys. I give a lot of credit to anyone bilingual, two Fs in Spanish show it's not for me.

Speaking of P's...unexpected NBD, haha. Found this Squire P on craigslist last night for $125 with a Rumble 15 practice amp. Gonna try to flip the amp, but the bass is nice. Barely used and a great neck.

Believe it or not, I'm not the biggest fan of drone bands/projects. But Drone done well is pretty awesome (IE early Boris, some Sunn, Earth 2) but I find it annoying that lately it seems like any one who has a fuzz pedal will play a riff for 3 minutes and call it a Drone band/song/project. Really same goes with Noise, when it's done well it can be awesome, but there is a ton of crap out there too.

Drone should be suffocating, dense, slow, completely engulfing, and most importantly loud.

end of mini rant.

I'm all about burning cds of stuff for friends to try and get them into underground stuff. It's one of my favorite pass times. Get them hooked!

I'm picky with Noise and Drone too.

See I don't mind music in other languages. My dad used to watch telemundo when I was a kid for what seemed like hours. Soap operas in spanish and stuff. I felt like I have an alien yelling at me all the time and would beg him to change it. I never understood what enjoyment he found there other than watching me suffer.

Some band wants to jam with me tonight. Not sure if it's a good night for it or not. Their stuff sounds kinda like the misfits which isn't bad. Not quite what I was looking for but they're close and it might be fun. I demand at least one crushing distorted bass solo every few songs.

Telemundo? The chicks man. That's why I watched it haha. There was a show called "Caliente" just a bunch of chicks dancing around in bikinis for an hr. Those soaps with all the adults dressed like kids running around screaming in a classroom was some crazy sh*t.

This was back in the days we had a giant satellite dish and I was a teenager. We used to get free porn all the time at night. I had no time for dolled up latinas.

lol yes the scrambled porn. It seemed like every week though most of the pay channels would decide to come in crystal clear for a few days or so. Spice, playboy, HBO, Showtime... I saw the birth of the sci fi channel and cartoon networks.. ahhh times were good.

Edit: I guess in retrospect what I'm really saying here is my dad is a pervert. I've always known this though and get a laugh out of it from time to time. Watching the telemundo girls drinking a beer :D.

French just sounds so smooth and mellow makes me wonder how to French people argue? lol
