I don't have plans to do this in the immediate future but after paying close attention to the Traynor YBA300 thread (I used to own a YBA200) I think I am going to sell my SVT to fund a YBA300. They are damn cool amps.

... just doin what i wish peeps would have done for me. its about the gear getting out there and getting rocked...thats priority. just want to see the things we make getting used. besides, i remember way back in the day before we were making all of this gear, i had to buy gear too. its a struggle when you want something but just cant get there financially.

at the end of the day, we do this all in the name of shred.

Were in the world would you need that kinda headroom from a tube amp? I think with that much power you loose out on all the things people get into tube amps for, natural compression and grith/grit.

My musical tastes stem from a number of sources but I can say my favorite experience with respect to sound was the "Dream House" in New York. Not sure if anyone has checked it out or if it even there any longer (lower east side).

Quadraphonic setup in this room with an insane frequency range with respect to where you are standing. Genius work.

I know quite a few folks out there who play in some killer bands, but they are friends first who happen to play in some killer bands.

I started a band called .DEAD.WEATHER.RADAR. back in 2000, it was just a bass and guitar with 4 full stacks each, fun stuff.
The inspiration for that was mostly middle eastern style drones and old EARTH amplified to the extreme. I have always loved over powering volumes, I like to feel it not just hear it.

As far as my favorite bands now? I am not sure its an easy question. I mostly look for pieces parts that I like from bands that seem to tapping into something interesting. Old Glenn Branca stuff is quite fascinating to me but really its all over the map. At the end of the day its about frequency modulation and the lower better and the volume is more than just an good earache.

Don't care for the vocals much in the first song. They seem to fit much better/are shooting for less deathcore in the second song. Love the groves!
