Just got back from vacation...went to Orlando with the family. Went to Universal Studios and Sea World. Oddly enough it was as warm in Wisconsin as it was in Florida.

But catching up on this thread and getting to this page, and scrolling down, hoping so much that I could make the 420th post. Only to have my dreams crushed by Thunderscreech.

That sucks I just read the thread all the way. I only deal with Electric Amp for custom stuff. I've been dealing with them since 08 with no issues and it's been a great experience for me. Expensive but worth it cause they really can back up the hype. I like supporting small companies but it is a gamble some times

Yea there are some post that are out of line there. The SGD Lutherie thread is out there too. Guy does lots of good buisness and lots of people like his stuff. I think some times people just get to much on their plate than they can handle. It happens. If you give them a chance before flaming them usually everything gets resolved. A few months is nothing waiting on custom stuff. Some builders have 14+ month wait list. Shoot the bluebeard list is till summer! I think everyone is ready to call people Dr. Bass after waiting for 30 days not 3 years

Well, I dont think Sonny takes any money until he tells you your number is coming up....and yeah, I had to wait six months on a stock color Ernie ball...big deal..i never once got an email from them! In fact I got a shipping notice a half hour AFTER the bass arrived... Was I upset, no way...I guess im old enough to remember when allow 4-6 Weeks was quick!...I commend you fellas who actually have been part of the saga from experience, your posts have been much more gracious and mature than some in that thread who just wanna reduce the conversation to ruin a guy...I guess thats why I hang out in this thread the most..you guys are cool....

I have been going back and forth with myself deciding if I wanted to post my interactions with Monolith in that thread. However seeing that he is still taking new orders quoting people 2 weeks lead time upsets me quite a bit, as well as saying he has been running into "issues" with paypal.
