2nd pair of 3 new headphones showed up today. Of course the in-laws are visiting for the long weekend and i can't really try them. No bass GAS but the headphone GAS is pretty bad right now.

Nice ad, great band name! It's not super important, but the only things I'd consider-
Male of female vox?
Is would you consider a singer who plays an instrument? It would be a greater motivation to pay for a rehearsal space.
thanks man, yeah i have no preference in gender as long as their not tone deaf and id really like a vocalist that could play six string, figured if they could theyd ask me if thats a option, or atleast i hope they would lol
Finally made that trade for an Epiphone LP & Swollen Pickle for my Blackbox Ultraviolet Fuzz. Solid trade! This guitar sounds and feels great. And the swollen pickle is a sweet fuzz. Definitely satisfied.
My two cents... Personally I'd describe the first practice as a work day and the other as a creative/fun day. Not go on as much about drinking et. Anyone considering being in a stoner/doom band shouldn't be shocked that you guys drink and smoke. It can be hard to describe that you're seeking a brother in arms and not just a hired gun. Also, I'd leave out the thc part. Keep the narcs away.
So the day started out all wrong...we missed 2 ferries to France, had rental car trouble and ended up getting a VW UP!, a tiny compact for two 6'3" 210+lbs dudes. But after that it was AWESOME. Saved an old guys life who slipped and clocked his head on the curb before getting a free lunch (for helping out with the guy) in Calais. Then drove down the beautiful west coast of France and through all the tiny towns that look all the same but are colorful vibrant with awesome. And now, we had the best scallops and pork chop ever and are sleeping in a 400 year old hotel/restaurant.

Thanks for the input guys, I just needed I start level of clarification in this post due to past failed auditions, mostly because we have really hard time working with people that don't smoke, on personal level and I think it disrupts the collective consciousness we have as a band. But thats all my crazy unreasonable explanation lol. I need to work with people living my lifestyle, I don't want to explain my behavior weather be in the band setting or when the amps are off. Although due to my in your face approach to getting my convictions across I will edit it to be more subtle.
A six hour practice, plus a looooong day on Wednesday? Do you guys not have jobs or something? That much time every week might be hard to swing for someone that works or has a family.
I understand about wanting to work with people that smoke, and i love smoking and jamming, but some folks prefer not to smoke when learning songs, etc. I find practice to be much more productive when you're not stopping to smoke every hour or whatever.
I don't know, if I was a singer and saw that ad, I'd probably pass even though i love drinking and smoking and jamming out. I only work 40 hours a week and i don't have kids, but that's a hell of a time commitment and i don't think I'd be able to swing it.

i think you can mention that whomever is interested should know that other members may partake in alcohol and/or other substances so that they know what to expect. just dont put so much emphasis on it in the ad.
Yeah we all work at the same group home taking care of crazies, we all work 40 hours but we work 16 hours shifts, have a lot jam time.
Syncoptation: Accenting the offbeat. ie, the 2nd and 4th rather than 1st and 3rd, or in the case of of quatret syncopation beat, the &'s

Its sort of weird to think about drummers in this case, because due to normal snare placement, they are sort off always playing a syncopated rhythm.
Crazies, huh... sounds like you have a good place to start the frontman hunt.
i wish, id take em on a leave of absence and not tell anyone they were psycho lol. sadly everyone i take care of is violent and for the most part uncoordinated
