Seymour Duncan I think sells p90 style humbuckers.

I bought the short scale version and it doesn't have the weight distribution problem, or its just not a big bother. Ill replace the bridge someday.

So, starting to make some plans for when our record is finished. You guys know what we sound like. What labels would you suggest I send an advance copy to?

Whoever puts out Anne Murray stuff.

  6. True story: My Dad and his sister once stole a turkey from Anne Murray's house when they were kids.

I always thought to myself "bridge over troubled water" was meant to be a heavier song.

  8. Anne Murray just knowing who she is makes me feel old

  9. Anne Murray is Canadian? Why did I ask that or even care, must be a migriane on the way, lol

  10. Yep, from Springhill, Nova Scotia where my parents are from.

Another Anne Murray\Canadian fun fact: Mike Smith(Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys) was in a horrible band called Sandbox in the 90's. Lead singer was Anne Murray's nephew. They were from Pictou County, Nova Scotia where I grew up.

  11. Oh I looked her up on Wiki, so you grew up in Coal Country too. My Grandfather and his father where both miners. Great Granpop was killed in the mines and my Grandfather had to go in to retrieve his body. And Granpop died of Black Lung. Guess that always jumps out at me when I see someone is from a Coal town.

  12. Yep, both Springhill(parent's hometown) and Stellarton(my hometown) have had huge mining disasters. I can't imagine anything more DOOM than being trapped in a mine.

  13. No way, just a crazy way of life. I grew up where plenty of mine disasters happened, even an intentional fire started to suffocated the scab miners who filled in while the others were striking. And where the scumbag Mining Companies hired the Pinkertons to open fire on the striking miners and The Molly Maquire's were hung to have someone to blame. And all that shady Company Store white slavery stuff they had going on back then.

  14. how about trapped in a mine with Wino? Instant more doom.

  15. Was Mike Smith playing the guitar with the shaved head in that video, kind of hard to tell it flashes around so much. Have to admit that is kind of the norm music for the 90s lol, lame alternative, that Better than Ezra style lol.

  16. Or Dixie Dave after too many days in the van, apparently lol. Wino's cowboy boot tips cutting in to you and all that jazz lol. Man I would also call a damaged sub on the bottom of the ocean a pretty Doom way to go too.

  17. Yeah that's Mike with the shaved head in video 2. Longer hair in the first one.

I always considered the sub disaster, blowing up on re entry, or being forced to drift into space with no way to stop some of the more doom ways to die.

  19. This is exactly why I avoid sitting in pressurized tin cans with engines.
