A few months down the road I plan on picking up a VM Jazz I think, just so I have a cheap third bass that I won't play often that I can put in weird tunings when I want to try different things.

When the fender cabronita came out it kinda caused some gas, but I'm not interested in any more maple necks. A squier vm cabronita with a warmoth neck on the other hand...that is really talking to me.

Nice selection on the VM basses actually. I'm sure there's a lot of people who would like an affordable Precision fiver they can mod up a bit. The PJ models and the 70s style Jazzes look cool too.

Seymour Duncan I think sells p90 style humbuckers.


Yeah those are cool but the new Vox guitars have this new design where they have a P90 sandwiched inside a humbucker pickup that you can switch from single coil to humbucker. Video below

I'm not into maple fretboards, which is the real disadvantage of the cabronita for me. I'd like a black one with a rosewood neck, though.
