Stoner/Doom Bassists 84: Name That Amp!

I put mine at the end with the modulation, before delay. I figure I want my passer to be delayed, not the other way around. Some advocate modulation in an effects loop, but I run my whole chain straight into the amp.

Phaser first modulation pedal after my dirt pedals. Does anyone here actually use the effects loops on their amps? I always plug the end of the chain straight in. Is it delay that is supposed to work/sound better in the effects loop?

Where do you folks put your phaser in your chain? I've always kept mine before my pre-amp (VT Bass) but I'm really liking it after my Echo Shifter when I want to go into full-on Hawkwind territory. That means putting it at the end of the chain though, and I can't decide whether it sounds "right".

(it's an EHX Small Stone btw)

I drop the phaser second-to-last. It's after all the gain/eq stuff and before the PN-2 tremolo. I like it after the gain to get those big swirly swells. Then I kick on the PN-2 to get the stuttery space effect.

Band practice tonight. Fired up for the gig this Sat! We threw together another pretty cool poster, this one borrowing heavily from a qotsa style.

Dude, pics!? I used to have an original straight baffle Sunn 6x12 and I regret selling it so much! I never tried it on bass as I had it when I was just doing guitar. What speakers do you have in there if you're running it for bass? And how well are they insulated? I'm asking because I'm actually considering getting a 6x12 for bass! I recently played out of a 2x12 and loved the sound 12's gave me. I've been tossing the idea of hitting up a custom builder to make a really well braced and sealed 6x12.

heres the pic of the whole backline, the SC150 is powering both red cabs on the outsides. the speakers are Delta 12LFA/Cs (to make a 612 get an even resistance my guitarist used a mix of 4 and 8 ohm speakers, its either 2 4 ohms and 4 8 ohms, or the reverse, but the top two speakers are a hair louder, and nobody ever notices haha)

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck...

Also when I read up on the amp all the issues were dudes messing with the crossover and blowing stuff.

Regular low into bassic should be lovely, I'm pretty sure the 800rb can handle a single 4ohm cab, I forget.

My Bassic is 8 ohms, I also have a beater Yorkville 115 4ohm which will be the test cab for GK when I get it lol, old gear makes me a little nervous lol.
