I'd Craigslist my bass and take the superior funds while in the same ad look for trades and trades+ cash

No hurry... It is your backup bass pretty much.

Ditto.
I'd think harder if it had better pickups. I really don't like MIM jazz pickups. Super bland IMO.
But askrere nailed it. 10 minutes on CL could get you more money.

Anyone ever wear Clark desert boots? Look durable and nice.

Yeah, I have a pair. I dig the look and they're nice enough for me to wear to work. Only thing is they're suede so don't wear them when it rains. They're not boots like work boots they're more like suede chucks with a 1/4" heel.

Anyway, what happed to Witchcraft on Legend? They sound totally different compared to their first album. Are the other albums more like the first one or more like Legend?

I'm gonna put some quotes in from another thread.
New pedal coming soon from bongomania's guy overseas.

You got it exactly. :) Subsonic filter, sweepable notch filter, and variable high-cut for cab sim. The notch and the high cut will have switches to select which output(s) they go to. Other details are still being hammered out.

.... the pedals you have in the works are very interesting...

This sounds perfect for distortion into full range cabinets like fEARfuls.
May not be what most are looking for but I'm drooling already.

Awesome, I need me some. Look like they'd be good for say hikes and camping too.

Not sure which one is legend but there is a shift from early forward. I know they recorded in a 70's basement studio for the first one or so.

Thanks for the advice guys, gonna play it more tomorrow, and hopefully make a decision.

The LTD is Korean. Quarter-sawn maple neck, very heavy ash/maple body. Hipshot (stock, but gold) hardware.

Jazz is in real good shape. Action is silly low and plays well. Very vowelly played acousticly. Just a small cigarette burn on the headstock. Doesnt smell at all. If i do go for it, I'd want at least a tort guard thrown in. Cases arent cheap, should be worth at least $50 trade in Id think.

Legend is definitely a different sounding album from the rest. It doesn't have the retro 70s production, which I am pretty tired of to be honest, but other than the production Legend isn't much of a departure. I found it a refreshing change.

That ltd is probably worth $400-425 then the coffin case is prolly worth $60 alone. Put it on CL. And be very cautious of a mim bass unless you absolutely love everything about it. you'll start to dump money in it quickly. If you sell bass and case separate you could probably find a killer mij jazz for a little extra money ($500 range) and not have to do anything.

+1 on MIJ basses. Not nearly the crap shoot MIM basses or even MIA basses are.

Yeah I got my 1988 62 reissue bass for almost $500 shipped on eBay. Once you sell the bass and case jus stalk eBay. You might just score what ends up your #1. Also being a mij bass stalker just throw up links to basses if your unsure and we will all help with that too. Doesn't have to say fender or ibanez on the head stock to be a solid score, but also shouldn't over pay for crap mij.

Morning gents.

So after some discussion with my Guitard about two 212 cabs, he started asking about size of the cabs and how they would work with his TH30. So I got busy in SketchUp. I scaled the human model to 6'4", as that is how tall he is. Just gives some perspective. This is what I came up with size/dimension-wise.

I like how you put him in a skirt.

+1 to the faceless amazon

Maybe strap a small cab to his head and have him stare directly where he wants his sound to go being so tall.

In seriousness, they look good, I imagine the excessive width is for setting a tube head on them?

Getting the dually I don't need anything else, but for some reason I really want a like 4x8" to build myself, like wee little half stack.
