I haven't personally used the Multidrive but I toured with a guy who did and it sounded fantastic. I'm a huge EBS fan (have two pedals - Phaser and Wah - and a Fafner amp) in general.

I haven't personally used the Multidrive but I toured with a guy who did and it sounded fantastic. I'm a huge EBS fan (have two pedals - Phaser and Wah - and a Fafner amp) in general.
Did you look at the octave up fuzzes? I'm pretty sure there are some with clean blends, would probably sound real cool with the straight BB + Oso mixed in. At one point in time I had a MXR Bass Octave Deluxe pumping into a Iron Ether Oxide fuzz, it just sounded like a weird synth. Definitely not as boner inducing as TB convinced me it was.
I think I'd prefer the clean Pog sound. The other Billows guitarist run a Pog2 with I think an OCD and it was one of the best, thickest guitar tones I've ever heard. We had a part of a song where he did a build up riff by himself into this heavy as hell groove where we all came in and it was sick.

Any of you more committed smokers use a vape much? I have a cheapo Chinese thing I bought off amazon for like $32 bucks just to try. I'd like to try something a little nicer noe cause the cheap one is rather inconsistent. Any model or website suggestions? You can PM instead if you want, but I don't think this is necessarily that taboo any more, plus some live in states/countries where its legal.
Hey guys, any suggestions for cool bass mods? Thinking of some other things I can build into my Carvin. The more I customize it, the more I don't want to play any other bass... bass g.a.s. has been nonexistent for months now!
So right now, I've swapped the pickups for passive single coil J's, 2 vol knobs 2 tone knobs, installed a push/pull for series/parallel and a push/pull for a .0043 treble cap on the bridge pup, ala new Rickenbackers. In my band, I use neither of these mods, but don't regret adding them (never know til ya try!)
2 useful ideas I have currently:
1.) 2-position rocker switch as a killswitch, for easy muting and also for killswitchy Tom Morello fun
2.) a trapdoor dugout in the side of the body (opposite the electronics) to keep band practice "pick me ups" in, as well as store my earplugs and a pick inside the bass
3.) installing a 2nd output jack, and segregating the pickups to separate outputs (for future bi-amping purposes, I gots plenty of amps!)
The first 2 I'm almost definitely going to do, the 3rd I may do if I ever get my other cabinet stack finished. Any other suggestions for fun bass mods? I think most of TB who replaces their tuners and bridge are sniffin the snake oil, but if anyone wants to convince me then by all means.

Saw that, very cool, LOVE the maple neck with white blocks. Now that I have my pedals and amps set for a decent amount of time into the future, I want a fretted P bass, that mirror pickgaurd, although cool would need to go I I got one.
Volcano with a bag has effed my world up on a couple of occasions. The wife and I have one of those cheapo ones with the digital temp reading, but I don't think it's accurate. It ends up burning the goods. I hate it.

Yeah I've used volcanos before. Awesome devices but I don't need a 3 liter bag for daily use haha. And yeah with the cheap little digital ones the temperature always seems inconsistent and it is easy to burn the stuff, which defeats the whole purpose.

It came with a pretty short cord and a pretty simple/fragile glass mouth piece. But the actual vape is good. We bought some longer tubing and made ourselves a smaller 12" steam roller and a 2 foot steam roller, both out of pvc, it was like $13 buck at a hardware store.
I would love to talk more about the stoner side of things, just didnt know if any one else wanted to or if any one cared. Love me some greenery...

And as for the video, I don't think they sound that good? I saw them live once and also had that impression. Thin sound, vocals sound odd compared to the albums, etc.
