They all look slightly different, but I think I want to buy a lot and start making treble boosters as a start for simplicity and great tone. I have a business idea, but I probably need someone a little more knowledge pedal wise to help flesh it out, but I had a tie in idea.

they all will work the # 1 thing is, are they tested for leakage current, HFE, and bias conditions. Small Bear tests them so they are decent devices for rangemaster clones while the others could be tested or may not be.

You might want to get a wider strap. that T-40 will kill you by the time your 50. :p

It was really my first gig, but we've been rehearsing most of the set for a loooong time, and it's not like I'm playing complicated stuff :p

And for the strap, you're not the first one to give me this advice, the T-40's weight isn't a problem for now but I guess I should think on the long term ^^

What devices would I need for those tests?

I'm trying to find a tube tester and good cheap scope. My half sisters grandpa was a technician of some sort, and sold all his stuff in like a garage sale. We're both kind of pissed because he had a garage of tubes and equipment he sold for pennies.

I'm nowhere near the prowess you are, I took one physics class and got a C :hiding:

But I love learning and creating, but then don't we all that's why we're here.

I saw hammond sold pre powdered boxes, dunno if that's any good. If not my apartment is on the same block as a powder coating company. I assume your mill you use is part of the engineering school?

Yea, my thinking on a basic level is Between Iommi and Clapton and the number of musicians who cop those tones and the love of blues here, I imagine I could locally get rid of a few, maybe try etsy.
