For some reason every pawn shop also has like a token saddle and tack gear, like there is one broke cowboy within distance of every pawn shop.
The rundberg one I haven't been to in like 6 months, but they had a bunch of cheap peavey Bass and PA cabs. two whole areas of just amps and cabs, a pedal case and a slew of other crap.
You feel safe living over off rundberg?

I was gonna go to my buddy in Frederick who has a home studio but my band has been doing demo's on my Tascam DP004 and the longer I've been using it the better it is sounding. The built in mics are decent.
I think I'm going to record scratch tracks at home to a click and then record the drums, bass, (maybe guitar) tracks with the recorder's stereo mics and dump them to audacity for mixing.
So stereo drums, stereo bass, stereo guitar, sound effects, and multiple vocal takes. So maybe 10 tracks total.
FF, usually not great on bass, they cut lots of lows but also the clipping does not always work. However, I have heard people liked my FF pedal on bass (FACOFF) and so that is that

Gotcha, if you need any help or anything let me know. Do you have any mics? You could do alot with that DP004, for drums use the built in mics as overheads and then use the 2 1/4 inputs for kick n snare, then use the 1/4 inputs with mics to record the other instruments. It will make life alot easier during mixing as far as panning and placement. Stacking a bunch of stereo tracks is a recipe for mud IMe.

I don't like this 8x10 very much.I live off Braker and Metric, in a nice little neighborhood tucked away. I leave my car unlocked all the time. It's pretty quiet. So yeah. haha.
But all the "crappy areas" are pretty patchy, with dumpsville one street, two streets over it's nice. It's kinda weird.

It's a Laney 8x10... Nexus something or other. It's a super nice cab. I fried some speakers on accident. haha. Bought 4 non-neo replacements, for the bottom. The rest of the neos are fine.
Actually the company I worked at had an office in that building. I work off Spicewood Springs and Mesa. House title insurance company.

Indeed. I was going to look into some mics and pre's. I have an old EV omni I can use for overheads. One of the built in mics in front of the kick with a shirt over it got a decent sound for the whole kit.
I'm not looking for a super pro sound.
I have a lot of logistics to figure out but Ima go as far as I can on my own. Thanks for the offer.
tonight i will play with it. excite! Also onto to developing the opto-isolator based instant on. Think I will probably do that once the turret board supplier is back online

Oh, I've recommended a bunch of great **** to this guy. He does enjoy what I throw at him, but overall, he always goes back to lame ass ******** that truly sucks.
its okay, gotta just let others wallow in their own music, once again why i usually dont share much music with friends who i know arent into it.
