I have nothing against acoustic guitar or good country music. Haven't touch my acoustic in over a year, though that's mostly because I'm a terrible guitar player.

As for country albums by non country bands, I thought the Supersuckers nailed it with this one:

Just messed around on my buddy's guitar. My Pharaoh and Blower Box sound pretty great! Even without changing settings. (Yes, I realize they're for bass AND guitar). Just surprised I didn't have to tweak settings.

yeah.. and now Ive sold off $2700 worth of gear in the last week and its sitting in my paypal and Im trying REAL HARD to convince myself to NOT buy that all natural Sabre in the classifieds! (I did blow $150 on bandcamp records though and I dont feel guilty at all!!)

By the way... have any of you other guys checked out The Cosmic Dead on there yet? Its like Earthless... but better.... for like 6 albums!!

Even if the Vulcan's non-modded fuzz sounds less-than-desirable, it may sound better with a dirt pedal in front of it. That's how the OD on my F800 works, at least.
