Shot in the dark but can a fender p bass chrome bridge cover fit on the Squier hi mass bridge?

Edit: Ventured out into the main land to ask too.

Gonna white out that Chris aiken bass and put the dimarzio model p in it and sell the ibanez roadstar. My first p bass is back too and I'm gonna strip it down with a heat gun and refinish it, put some other pickup in it and give it a new life.

I remember that one really popular song they had. It makes me cringe. DOTN are my Clutch, Bee. I like acoustic pieces like on Pallbearer's first album, that intro. Acoustic guitar was ruined for me in college. A bunch a jerks that knew the first few chords of Dave Matthews or Sublime or the dude from hous of pain... Yeah. Days of the new, too. All those songs just really made me hate it. That and the twang of a steel guitar. I've been trying to broaden my tastes but can't get into country musc at all. If country music is white man blues, I don't want to be white. Ok, I'll stop now.

LOL that jump around guy? He looks like the love child of John goodman and Guy Fieri. But I shouldn't make fun, because I don't know what it's like .

I like acoustic guitar. How much? An acoustic-strumming friend came over a few weeks ago... I got my Takamine out for him, and I'm pretty sure it was the first time I'd taken it out of its case... since moving to this house... over three years ago.
Okay, I guess I don't like it THAT much.

My really good friend back in austin didn't have a car for a while and lived in an apartment so we'd play acoustic all the time. Now I play one and I'm just not inspired at all. However I listen to a fair bit of acoustic stuff.

I have nothing against acoustic guitar or good country music. Haven't touch my acoustic in over a year, though that's mostly because I'm a terrible guitar player.

As for country albums by non country bands, I thought the Supersuckers nailed it with this one:


The live album was a little better, but that one hasn't made it to the youtubes.

I actually quite enjoy acoustic guitar, though not necessarily simple chord and strumming stuff, more idiosyncratic playing and use of alternative tunings (DADGAD, CGCGCE, DGCGCD). I especially like the 12-string acoustic when played in open tunings. Stuff like Roy Harper, Leo Kottke, Bert Jansch, I guess stuff that has a more...English feel to it.





And then a lot of Delta Blues and country blues on acoustic.. Charlie Patton, Leadbelly, Son House, Mississippi Fred McDowell.





And also like...Stephen Stills

poopie, I forgot how good this album is. Might have to re-buy my long-destroyed cd.
