I'm in the area, and I also need to see Chuck Berry. He still performs monthly. Can't say I'd expect much of a show (maybe I'd be wrong?), but it'd be worth it just to see a living legend.Low T should be my rapper name.
They are killer. And isn't Saint Loo the "home" of toasted raviolis? Didn't that originate there?
What a great town. Haven't been in years. I'm not all that far away and always wanted to get up there to catch Chuck Berry. I know at least a few years back he was still playing live once a month or so...
Dang. Didn't realize all that. I just figured his show might not be so great because he's so dang old and can't do it like he used to. Now I feel bad and like I NEED to go see a show to support the man... I'll just make sure to not be in his line of sight. From what I hear Chuck's performances are uneven to put it politely, and by all accounts he's a tremendous, despicable *******. He's angry because he was screwed over by ****** promoters / record labels in his youth and is required to continue to play shows to earn a living. He takes this out on musicians, crew, sound people, anyone in his line of sight basically.

I was just going to say, I don't think he's playing cause he wants to. I can imagine how bitter he must feel about the poopy contracts African American recording artists we're pigeonholed into. From what I hear Chuck's performances are uneven to put it politely, and by all accounts he's a tremendous, despicable *******. Makes me feel all warm and...
I feel the Giant Realist Flying Tiger from Uncle Grandpa should be somewhere in your pic.
I want to see a Low T commercial featuring Ice T now...
Yo when a pimp ain't feeling like a pimp that's a sign dawg.
Lord Satanas Luciferi! Today cannot end fast enough. Even if I leave early from work. Manager is off, not much going on at work ( might as well stay and get paid), show tomorrow night, today is a Goatsnake day!
I was just told if there are not critical tickets in queue to cut loose by noon. Taking next week off to focus on selling as much of my crap as possible before the tax man commith. Bub By Klipsch.....
I have this irresistible urge to do the "word of the day" scream.Local guy just finished this. Holy hell. Amazing.

Thanks Mon. I have a long road ahead but in 2 years it will be a brighter future. I have to do my best to clarify "want" with "need" for a long time.Bummed you got to shake your gear and stereo stuff loose, glad you got a short day though.

I've been a slave to my possessions for far too long. End game of this is I stay in my house and don't have to short sale. The ex is being forgiving as well so our daughter can have a safe place with me in town. We are both making sacrifices to maintain her positive upbringing. High school is right down the street from my house. Looking forward to not paying for after school daycare.Brother, I know right where you are at. After losing all our crap in that flood I bring up twice a week, and after having been in situations multiple times where I (and my wife at times) have had to sell everything of value we owned, I've gotten to the point where I hardly bother acquiring "stuff."
There are lots of things I'd love to have (wants) but since I have a family of four that's been subsisting on only my income for a year and a half (my wife was nearly killed in a car accident in October, 2013 and hasn't been able to work since...she's in terrible physical shape) the "needs" always have to outweigh everything. I've had to sell gear, computers, movie collections, all kinds of stuff, just to buy groceries, keep the water from being shut off, pay the car insurance...it fargin' sucks.
I just bought a decent MIM P bass back in February. I got a good deal and hope to hang onto it, but it's not outside the realm of possibilities that I'll have to cut it loose at any time.
Anyway, not to bore everyone with my personal sob story; just saying--I sympathize.
I just started it in Netflix streaming.I've been waiting for this to arrive on Netflix forever. This weekend is Wolfcop time.
