Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

@D.M.N. What was that band(non-doom) you said was your favorite? Man I need a new memory.

Or you know what, it very well might have been Howlin' Rain, it's either Rose Hill Drive or Howlin' Rain if we're talking current bands.

Btw, here's Earl Greyhound, who I totally should have mentioned at some point in this thread as far as non-Doom bands that kick a$$ go.

Have you watched the new season on netflix?

I dig it.

Probably Rose Hill Drive? I don't think I've mentioned Earl Greyhound in this thread (another top band in my book), so I was probably talking about RHD.

In other news, I saw that Sheavy's The Electric Sleep was going to be released on vinyl soon, think I might need to pick that up.

Oh you know I already burned through Season 9 and I already watched their Swearnet Movie LOL, that was a trip too. I think they have another movie coming out on Netflix soon too.

Yeah that was it, Rose Hill Drive, I youtubed the hell out of them after you mentioned them but of course I forgot, I am lucky I find my way back home each night.

I will check out Earl Greyhound.

Had a blast listening to Stardeath and White Dwarfs last night while hopped up on Tramadol trying to kill a migraine last night.

Check out The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour, it's the same guys, pretty crazy shvt. It's more in vein of Swearnet as the boys play themselves of sorts. And yes, it's drunk and on drugs :D

Can anyone help me out understanding the diff between these two 15" black widows?

1. 1505-8 KA DT BW™ Invalid Link Removed
2. 1508-8 HE BWX™ Invalid Link Removed

This would be for that Sunn (Solaro) cabinet I posted about a while back.

Thanks for any info.
-Dan

The answer is neither. You want the 1505dt that has the 5mm xmax. Both the ones you linked are crap.

I know I've referred to DiBiase before, but...

Tramadol effects me weirdly. I got it for a terribly inflamed throat once. Took three right away and felt goofy but whatever. Next day I took just one to be safe in class. Within 15 minutes I was all sweaty and nodding out in my chair. Every time after that I would react somewhere between nothing and full on falling out, dosage and tolerance be damned.

Your 400RB has a footswitch? Which model? I'd swear my 400RB-IV doesn't even have an input for a footswitch. My BL600 did, though... and I've still got that one.

Took a few crappy pics, lighting is terrible in that room. It is still horizontal power switch but has plastic jacks I think the seller said 1991 for the year. You can see the footswitch jack next to the boost knob.

Well, how about that? Switchable boost seems like a good thing. Any idea why RAG discontinued it?
