Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

@askrere grab her upper jaw with you pointer and thumb in a wrapping claw motion, thatll make her drop something without the whole tug off war thing.

Also me and @Pelham Bleu, have finally hashed out a trade deal in which I get the Megalith he promised to sell me when he bought his Vulcan but then backed out. Its not a trade for ownership, its more of an extended loan to try em out. Megalith for my Dunwich pre/DI.

Super excited about this deal. And Im sure Ill be able to convince him to let me keep it forever, whilst im borrowing it. Everyone has a price.

How do you remove something from her mouth then? She chews a bit but I stop her always. She nibbles on me a lot, apparently that's how she learns to be gentle I read I should just say ow if she adds pressure.

No barking ever so far, cried a little bit when first crated then stopped. Have a friend checking on her at lunch.

Slept with me all night. Minus pee breaks
Does she have the sour milk puppy breath?
Also, I found that oyster crackers make a great (and inexpensive doggy treat). also, if you cook a lot, start giving her pieces of raw veggies as treats. My dachshund LOVES raw carrots.

Haha, well I had just met the dudes, didn't want to weird them out by snapping photos of their stuff. Next time I'll grab a pedalboard shot at least...

You know now that I think about it, meeting guys for the first time you are basically showing each other a lot of expensive items you own and then discussing your work schedules. Kinda a open invitation to robbery if people were bad.

I'll try carrots and crackers.

She smells amazing I asked the owner what he used waiting to hear back when he finds the bottle. Her breath is fine, she had her head on me a lot and in my face and no issues.

I've met plenty that are practically clueless.

Indeed

I've been watching too many Dave's world of fun stuff videos.
Last night I was sleeping no more than an hour and I was dreaming about being in a confusing guitar shop in Canada.
Stepson woke me up around 11:30 yelling obscenities at his COD game.
Few more days and he will be out of the house. Then time to clean up his room and find someone I can trust to rent his room for real money.

Love those videos too.

Max, the Mace has a loop/power amp in right? Maybe a more bass-friendly preamp from one of your other amps would be a better choice if the Mace pre isn't quite good enough.

The Mace pre is plenty usable as a bass pre, at least for a guitar amp, it just needed the right cab. Also my opinion on tone from single amp is forever blurred because I always run 2 or 3 amps...1 amp no matter which one it is doesnt sound right to me anymore.

Can anyone help me out understanding the diff between these two 15" black widows?

This would be for that Sunn (Solaro) cabinet I posted about a while back.

Thanks for any info.

I know I've referred to DiBiase before, but...

Gotcha - that makes sense.

I just had lunch with a couple of guys from Loud - got to tell them how much I like my 2-PRO. They bought me lunch too, which is nice. Good people.

The metamorphosis is complete, Sam is really a caveman!

But that picture makes me want to drink a white Russian.

Have you watched the new season on netflix?

This came out today:

I dig it.

@D.M.N. What was that band(non-doom) you said was your favorite? Man I need a new memory.

Probably Rose Hill Drive? I don't think I've mentioned Earl Greyhound in this thread (another top band in my book), so I was probably talking about RHD.

In other news, I saw that Sheavy's The Electric Sleep was going to be released on vinyl soon, think I might need to pick that up.
