I've checked the local stores, the only stuff in stock is about 8 feet tall and the boards go vertical instead of horizontal. Not to mention it's about $100.

Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I got some with a TB purchase, and I wouldn't recommend them. They're the Lava ones. I can't get them to work AT ALL. I've spent hours on them, followed the directions, looked up numerous how-to vids, everything. Nothing gets them to work. Great idea in theory, but I think I just need to learn to solder and make my own cables. Also pedals and repairs.
I've used 8x24x1" sections of laminate covered shelving as a pedal board, just have to drill your own holes and use zip ties. Maybe add a set of rubber feet. The down side is all cables and wires are on top. The Gorm is nice because its one piece, and you can route stuff under.
That's what I'm going for - stuff mounted under. Run the cables underneath the board and have some space for other stuff there as well. Meaning I want/need a solid bottom to store stuff. I made one with my dad a year and a half ago, and the one thing that most boards don't have is storage space. My bass board has storage under it for power supplies, cables, my wireless, extra batteries, a multi-tool, etc. You get the idea.
yeah, makes perfect sense. I keep my One Spot and most of the cordage in a small zipper pouch under my board, but all the wiring still runs over the top. But I only run 3 maybe 4 pedals at a time.
Just put a 1/2"x 4" board in the front. It will lift the pedal board at a tilt. Then secure the cables and stuff from underneath.

Yeah those solderless kits suck. The dudes in the Breeder thread complain about them all the time. I politely suggested that soldering isn't difficult and was aruged down.

While I'm currently wearing a Thrones t shirt and think that Joe Preston is awesome, i won't be doing that.
I have all that. Maybe I'll hit up the back of a large chain store or something.
So I still didnt get to be loud last night, vacuuming the space and organizing things means lots of moving shvt around to vacuum a small portion only to move stuff into that clean area to vacuum that space, its slowly coming together though. Back down to the space again after work to finish cleaning, then vega practice, if the guitarist doesnt have a poor excuse to bail...hopefully well be able to play something because we still need to hook everything back up...
LOUD withdrawls and early mornings spell turrible GAS...This is crying out for me.

got out the old 1979 dr q envelope filter pedal last night, might work with the jazz bass for the electro clash/noise pop stuff, not sure how it' gonna work with the doom guys unless we get a little trip hoppy in the future
