I had one for a while. It is super super glitchy. Doesn't work worth a poopie on bass, but it can yield some cool stuff on guitar. Especially stacked into a fuzz. For $35 I'd buy it just to have it on the pedal shelf.

Just wasn't digging it?Tried to sell my Ric, ended up trading it for a Sadowsky Metro RV4.
You played with Inaeona? They're amazing. I bought their CD when we played with them, and had it in my car for about a month. Cool band. The gig last night went really really well. Decent turn out for a Wednesday night to boot. This was the first gig I've played without some kind of a sound check before each band performed. The only things miced were the kick drums and vocals. I found this particularly strange because we are always miced at this venue. I had a bit of nervousness because I thought to myself, this will be the true test of my dually/cl400 rig, no mics and full stacks raging. I was not disappointed AT ALL. My low end was authoritative and clear, the mids were present and the highs cut just enough for all of the definition I needed. I truly could not be happier with my rig. In fact, all of the bands were incredibly well balanced without a PA.
I had one small fright as I took the stage. Earlier in the day when testing the full rig for the first time, I noticed that one of the power tubes was sitting up out of the socket a bit. I pulled the back grille off and pushed it back into place as best as I could. When I took the stage and turned the amp on, my stomach sank as I saw a flash of blue light from the tubes and then noticed that the tube I had pushed down was glowing blue. "Oh ****" is what was going through my head. I turned the amp off and back on, same thing. I thought, well I'd probably better give her a go as I didn't have a backup rig. Took it off standby and there was no smoke or sparks and everything sounded good. I figured if a tube blows, it blows. Not a lot could be done at that point. The show went hassle free though. We played about 45 minutes and after the first song, the tube in question had lost the blue glow and was looking like normal. I'm not sure if it was crappy power or what. I'll have to investigate further.
The other bands were all really good as well. The Lions Daughter RIPPED. Just a hell of a show. Two full stacks and a bass stack(all emperor cabs, a soldano head, jcm2000 and a Mesa v12 Titan) for a three piece.
We received mixed reviews I guess. Actually we received overwhelmingly positive reviews from everyone except the bassist and band friend of the first band. I overheard them talking smack and I guess they thought we sounded like ****. Not sure why they were so salty. Beyond that, people were stoked on our tunes. Inaeona and The Lions Daughter were both super excited about our show and a few specific tunes we played. Scott of TLD even vocalized agreement with another attendee who was bold enough to say that he thought we were better than both Red Fang and The Sword. That really caught me off guard... Like really. I would never have even put our names in the same pool.
My lady captured a killer video of our newest tune, "Waters Take Us". I don't think the video itself is all that, but the sound is exceptional for an iPhone recording. When I figure out how to post it, believe me I will.
Good night all around. If the first band was really that sour, then **** those guys. Even if I disliked another band playing I would never sh*t talk them while still at the gig. It ain't going to rain on my picnic though.

Anybody around here like the Blue Box? I feel like I've heard it discussed. Anyway, here's one on CL for $35:

Hey everyone! Looking for some input on some venues/shows in the Seattle area. Hoping to make a trip out that way in september. I think i convinced the girlfriend to try and see a couple shows while we are out there. Id love to see a stoner/doom show. Let me know what yall think or where we should go check out. Dates arent set yet, but somewhere between Sept 16-Oct 1st would be a window at this point.

I will say I wish I could get the tone of a Ric with the comfort of a Pbass. Maybe one day I'll commission an all maple P bass body with Ric pickups or something. haha

Hope to play some music again soon, I'm so busy with art and work it's crazy
If one of the bands is bringing an ampeg 810, there's no reason for anyone else to bring a bass cab. Last night there were two full SVT rigs plus my D-180/2000S rig. At an upstairs venue.Da fuq?!
