Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Svt is getting shipped today...here comes the worry of it getting dropped and or lost in transit.

So, I like the metal reinforcement bracket, and I'm sure he adding more padding before he closed it up, and the road case will help protect the amp, but that off center weight distribution is going to make it harder to handle and more likely to be dropped. Also no padding on two sides. I spent the better part of 4 years packing and shipping pro audio gear and this job makes me a bit worried.

Yeah? It looks like theres some carboard on those 2 far sides but yeah thats not very centered. Also Im doing an in store pick up so that saves on a bit of the potential droppage with only one delivery driver.

Hey Hive Mind, what's a fair rate to offer an graphic artist for artwork & layout for a CD / 7" vinyl jacket??
Hex Volt no have graphic art talent in house. last CD art was total hackjob by yours truly. Would like to step up game this time, wondering what I should budget.

it will vary from person to person.

we've used this guy a couple of times and his prices are very reasonable.

Like Sartori said, I ask artists I like what their rates are. I used to do freelance graphic artist work 10+ years ago, so I did my own stuff the last couple releases I was a part of, but only because I was dead broke. It's nice to have well done custom art for an album/ep, really elevates the presentation.

I didn't know this group was a thing. Hai.

O hai :D

RIP Max, crushed when PVYHenge finally collapsed under its own weight and the heaviness of the riff, forever memorialized in the longest running most posted in thread on talkbass.

I've told a few people that I'm going to use the 2PRO until I die - and I'll probably die crushed underneath it. I'm ok with that.
