For strings, I’ve been using roundwound or half wound nickels almost exclusively since starting to play this genre. Thanks @bassboysam !

funny enough i don't use either. la bella or TI flats, SS rounds for me.

+1 for stainless rounds. I have em on 2 basses, coated on the 4 fretless and flats on my P bass. Pretty wide range of sounds I can get with all of those!

That's definitely one of their best. One of my goals in life is to get my copies of the MTG card Firestorm signed by Karl Buechner.
