Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I've been known to throw out some Billie Eilish, Devo, Gorillaz, MJ, Daft Punk, and Megan Trainor in "downtime" between songs, at line checks, or coming back from a break.
Bringing things back on topic, something I've thought about several times but I don't know if I ever raised it here. It seems to me that I don't see many multiscale basses in stoner/doom bands. I find this a bit puzzling because it seems like they'd be right at home with so many in the genre downtuning. Am I just missing the multiscale bass players? Is it that a multiscale doesn't really fit the image/aesthetic of the genre? Or maybe everyone is happy with more traditional gear and doesn't need the longer scale of something like a Dingwall?
I think it is both. People who play this genre tend to prefer vintage, or vintage styled/inspired gear. And also a big reason for using multiscale instruments is to tame the rumble, which is exactly the opposite of what doomers want on lower notes

It is in Bb. The notes are the open Bb, second fret, fifth fret, and first fret on E, assuming you will keep it standard

Hey fellas, just wanted to share my updated rig. Found this beat to poopie Ampeg 8x10 on Craigslist for only $325 and it's finally allowed me to realize my dream of bi amping with my 800RB. I don't think I can ever go back now haha. Thing absolutely rumbles!
Bonus pic of my new guitarists rig next to mine. Previously my drummer and I owned a JCM900 that we got on the cheap to allow our lead guitarist to use since he was always broke, but when that project fell through we decided to swap it out for the Laney AOR 100W. Much better for this stuff, I couldn't stand the 900 haha. The new guy owns the Peavey Butcher stack so we're of course having him run both.

It's alright. Honestly the only way I use it is for some psychedelic breakdown parts to add atmosphere. I turn down the lead tones all the way, as it's too synthy for my tastes. I'll put the sympathetic around 9 O'clock with the dry signal basically all the way up and use an expression pedal to control that background shimmer. It's a cool effect but kind of a one trick pony for me personally.
I'd try it out before buying it if you can.

I gotta agree with @ihaveaquestion. I think it's a bit of both. For me it's a bit both and that I'm not crazy about the frets. Neck feel is big for me. I'm sure I could get used to it, but wouldn't care for it if I also play a bunch of other basses. Oddly enough I have little problem going from short to long to guitar scales, but those fan frets throw me off.

Nice. I love my 800 on the low duty. Honestly, though, the biamp rig, while awesome, wasn't that noticably better than the 800 by itself at the gig. But it is fun to have that much stuff on your side of the stage.
Could anyone recommend some easier but interesting doom or stoner bass lines for a beginner?
Tuning is a bit limited at the moment due to the .105 E string. I seem to be able to just about get away with CGCF but I think that's my limit.
I've learnt Deamon Cleaner and Catamaran by Kyuss and Hallowed Land by Paradise Lost so far as well as a load of grunge and punk.
