May have to try one of those out. This particular bass has hardcore neck dive. This bass is like a mashup of a P and an SG. The top horn stops at the 15th fret. The body is very light. All the weight is in the tuners. It sounds great though.

Lol yeah same here. They look and sound great, but I don't know if I want to buy one. Not to say they aren't worth it though. Same with the Boss one. Might have to find a a boss enclosure and make one myself. Bummed it's so limited which guaranteed the price. Wanted one bad.
There's a company called pedalpcb.com that makes boards of a lot of "rare" or expensive pedals. RCO Pedals is another group on reverb that makes clean looking pedals from those boards. Been tempted to see if they'll do a Spires along with a bunch of other fuzzes from EQD that I want to try but cost an arm and a leg now that they're discontinued. Heard good things about RCO's work too.
I've recently thought of picking up an RCO box. Never heard of them before, but glad to know they've got a good rep.
I've never personally owned any of their pedals, but have heard a lot of good reviews. Reverb customers seem to be real happy with them as well.
Jeebus. The tone bender page on the Boss site is a masterclass in marketing wank. Actually seems like a cool pedal, though. I’m pretty burnt on craft/artisanal/heritage/limited any-and-every-thing these days. Meh, maybe in a few years when everyone is laughing about Boss’ attempt at booteek pedals, these will be cheap.
Yeah, same boat here, though I'm not interested in that pedal specifically. Pretty much all my boutique or hard to find stuff has been getting replaced the last few months. I have no regrets, and have to say I enjoy my tone a little more. Boutique can be awesome and all, but they're just tools. Use what works. And if you can save money while doing so, even better!
I'd love to have one, but I've got way better ideas to spend 350$.

I've been listening to Nightfall in Middle-Earth A LOT lately. If you haven't heard it, put it at the top of your list. If you have, you're probably due for a re-listen.
Ah, yes. Blind Guardian. One of my favorite bands of all time! And that was the first album I ever bought of theirs! Specifically because of the LOTR tie-in. I happened upon them by complete accident back in the good old days when people actually bought physical records in stores. I was looking for "Black Sabbath" and found "Blind Guardian". Picked it up, and it literally changed my life. Went from "mainstream" metal like Metallica and Sabbath straight to underground in one go. Never looked back.
To put it shortly, yes - I have definitely heard Nightfall in Middle-Earth. And I AM due for a re-listen. This may have also solved another minor issue - in the next few days I'll be finishing up my folk metal playlist. I've been trying to figure out what to listen to next. Maybe a LOTR metal playlist? Or at least this album to start...
I mean, clearly, yes - I'm awesome. (Not so serious...) But who's that guy? (Yes, I'm serious on this one. I have no clue who that is.)
