These days it's usually 4-5.5 mi at 8:00 pace four to five days per week. Before I injured my foot a couple years ago I could do a 3:15 marathon.![]()
You been woodshedding those tracks?
i bought a Cusack Tap-a-Phase off of Reverb for $150 and shipping was like $8 which is really cheap and it got here really fast. There were places that wanted to charge me $30 to ship earplugs....
You bought -25db right and said you wished you got the 15?
On a note you can't answer would -15db plugs also be ok for shooting too? This is probably a question Julian or toast would be more privy to.

My grandpa was a B-52 crew chief in Vietnam and throughout the Cold War, and is basically deaf but won't wear a hearing aid, he's been around non stop jets for decades though.
Anyone know infantry vets with such hearing damage from the repeated firing? Not that I plan to go out to a range without protection, I just wondered how they did after their duties hearing wise.
do any of you guys use custom molds or does everyone use off the shelf stuff?

Wear protection and not just for sex![]()
Sweet, somone finally uploaded the Dead Man soundtrack:
You know, if Neil didn't have such an ego it would be awesome to hear him and Dylan Carlson collaborate on an Earth album.
I was artillery in the Army National Guard and part of our battle dress uniform was an ear plug case that went through our pocket. Plus my job was to load and fire the cannon so I had to have them in constantly on fire missions as I couldn't just do the press my ears closed with my fingers thing when others were shooting. I would rock a stand up bass in a doom band....
So caught up 50 some pages. Here's what I learned in my time out...
- It was totally worth it
- I'd probably do it again
So didn't learn much.
DOOM.
Now let's see...
Congrats Ron!
Janitor, I should have totally made a weekend in Madison for your show. Cuda like most Bongzilla project are fuzzrific. So wish I was old enough to see Bongzilla in 90s Madtown.
On topic of stack size, I like a big wall of amps and cabs although I do all my own lifting/every cab I own has wheels. The size is definitely a concern I have about buying a dually. Ill stick to my big cabs. Eventually I am going to put my EVM 15s in a pair of TL606 cabs. But that will be done in an oversized fashion.
Dunwich/Corey, that's some wiring porn right there. Cough cough, coffee table book nick, cough cough.
Bands are going fine, prep for recording next month and writing material.
Not much else new, its good to be back.
