Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Death to tort!

I heart the tort on my VIer and Casino.

poopy lighting/filter not doing any favors for the tort, though.

And the winner is..... black :). Helps I got a super awesome deal in the classifieds last night. Should be here Monday :). Thanks for all the input!! Next question, who uses compressors and what do you like? I started jamming with this new band and I was having trouble getting a even volume between stings on both jazzes. The white one was better but still not 100% where I want it. I'd be jammin on the E then drop to the a and I'm lost in the mix. Any suggestions or ideas how how to fix my problem?
Can you mess with the pickup height? Screw in the E string side, and let out the other side. May not work as well with jazz pickups as it does with split ones.

Sup. 3 Pills left. Then maybe two weeks to taste. Be nice to eat something that does not taste like nothing for once. I have found that the taste of vegetables is the least affected so if any of you ever find yourselves on Turbinafine eat your veggies.

Nothing happening musically for me. Practicing every day has shown some definite benefits. I'm almost back to where I was before I took a ten year hiatus from music. Only took a year.

I forgot to tell you guys I saw DOOM in Wichita. Some local guys called Bridegiest. I saw then open for Dirty Rotten Imbeciles in a local rock bar. Pretty good for Wichita, I enjoyed it.

Later gentlemen.

Think I'm going to get an acoustic guitar. I sucks at guitar. But I figure if I get something with a super wide nut, that should help with my lazy fingers.
It's between a Recording King 000 or a Cordoba classical. 2 totally different things. Haha. Think I'm gonna go 000.

This way I can acoustic black metal in the woods when I move.

You can find nice made Yamaha classicals for cheap, I picked up a nice old Yammie for $50 with a gig back on my local CL. Super wide for a 6 string and I love how the low strings sound electric guitarish more so than a steel string acoustic so you can get your power chord fun on with a classical. There are some wide neck acoustics made for fingerstyle guitar though with like 1.75 necks.

Ah, ok. The Blonde is pretty popular in certain circles for guitar, I know. I don't normally go in much for amp sim pedals either, but the Tech 21 character series designs are really good. I have a couple and have used them a bunch. I'd like to get all of them, just to have the options, wish I had more cash to burn on pedals.

I would like to have all of them too, LOL. Even more than that I want all the Catalinbread foundation overdrives but that is big bucks. SFT orderd but I still want the WIIO, the 5f6 Bassman, and the Formula No. 5 Tweed, and, and, and...
