Power was out at a friends bands practice space so they came and playing my bedroom. In bed with beer lol.
Both look good, but I'd go black. For me, tort looks on black or white bodies.

Good morning dudes. Spent a little quality time yesterday making a racket with my assembled rig. Mostly played caveman riffs using the Squier VI into FZ-2. Wasn't pretty.
Nothing like caveman riffs at high volume with a brand new fuzz.

I started jamming with this new band and I was having trouble getting a even volume between stings on both jazzes. The white one was better but still not 100% where I want it. I'd be jammin on the E then drop to the a and I'm lost in the mix. Any suggestions or ideas how how to fix my problem?

Boss CS-2, but don't overpay for one. There are chowderheads out there who think they're worth $140. 
A buddy of mine uses a Markbass one that sounds good, too. You can even get a little hair out of it.

I have a dbx 163x on loan right now and it's ok but not all quite there. It also distorts a little (not in a good way) with hotter basses. Even with the input gain turned all the way down. Plus it's a half rack so it's also cumbersome that way. But doing a ok job for now. But want a ped and the simple layout if possible. And yeah don't want to spend a fortune. Actually using the Bluebeard on bass for once and would like to have it after the compressor too instead of before.

"Local Pickup Only" DOH! Doesn't help me in AZ much.
Since the heads alone are going for $400-$500 and up these days, 350 is not bad for a combo, assuming it works. And if it doesn't, these are easy to mod and fix. Low-to-mid volume all-tube bass practice amp? Yeah. Dirty half of a bi-amp setup, pushed to EL34 power tube crunch with OD/Fuzz of choice? DUN. Great guitar amp? Oh yah u betcha, eh, especially with 15" speaker of choice. Mod platform? Move a few wires, turn it into a Marshall 2104, but with 1x15 instead of 2x12.
Maybe you can tell I like Traynor bassmasters
