ampeg fuzz, i would say black, because i like a little redder tort, however mine has a white one

It's white as of now but I'm not digging it. I guess they only did this finish for about 2 years in ash in early 2000. If it didn't have the lazy route I would almost consider no guard to show more grain. But it's pretty ugly u get there.

My bass is that same color combo and my two pickguard choices are similar. Brown tort or black. I took it to the band. They liked the tort because, "it looks classic".

So, Pelham Bleu pointed out a Vulcan in Canada for $75, needs work, doesn't have knobs, etc etc. Bleu messaged him and hebsaid he was willing to ship to the states. I email the guy saying I was very interested and would buy it immediately. He says "I pass". I up the offer to $100. Still says no. I finally say I really want this, what is it going to cost to buy it. He says he's not interested, guy refused an open offer. THEN WHY DID YOU LIST IT?!?!?!!?

I've let a few Vulcans pass by when I should have bought them who knows how many actually got made and how many are still around. That amp IS MY TONE, mine is lonely and I want a back up.

So last night I had a severe allergic reaction and ended up taking too much of two different antihistamines. Couldn't drive or speak clearly this morning. Played hooky today and am headed to see a Dr. in a bit. Really not excited about that, I hate medical professionals. Should be good fun. Maybe I can get a referral to an allergist.
Oh boy.

Black. I'm biased though, I hate tort. That's why both of my basses have tort pickguards

Also, jammed tonight with drummer's second band, a rock/funk outfit in search of a bassist. I'm kinda reluctant to join though, the guitarist is the leader and he calls all the shots, no room for improvisation or doing the hell I like.
