Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Bored and all this sushi talk I decided to put together my pig out game plan for tomorrow, prices don't count as it is all you can eat.

Appetizers
Tuna Martini 7.00
Tuna cubes, scallions and fish eggs with spicy mayo and eel sauce
Black Pepper Tuna 7.00
Thin sliced tuna, seared with black pepper in ponzu sauce and wasabi sauce
Salon Bowl 7.00
Spicy crabmeat with salmon and green tobiko

Rolls
Volcano RollLink Removed 7.00
Deep fried sashimi and crabmeat. Sauce: Eel sauce, spicy mayo, chili sauce

Shrimp Tempura Roll 7.00
Tempura shrimp, cucumber, lettuce, and masago eel sauce
Crazy Monkey RollLink Removed 8.00
Fried banana crunchy topped crabmeat. Sauce: Eel sauce and chef's special sauce
Hawaii RollLink Removed 9.00
Shrimp tempura, mango. topped with spicy crab. Sauce: Honey sauce and chef
Dynamite RollLink RemovedLink Removed 10.00
Spicy yellowtail with spicy tuna and crunchy on top

Snow Crab Roll 10.00
Shrimp tempura inside, snow crab on top. Sauce: Chef's special sauce

And probably some Hibachi steak hold the rice and veggies.

T-45 arrived. Waiting for the new EXP strings before I move to setup. It has quite a few body dents and such but can't tell much from 10 feet away. Strings are high at the moment and only tuned it up to E standard. Neck will need a truss rod tightened a little more hope it's not screwed. I like the neck profile. A little wider than I'm used to. At least I have the nickle strap locks in stock.

The middle knob seems to be a coil blend. Just IM the seller that it's safe. happy it's in a hard shell case... I will line the inside with something cause it's just molded plastic. Seller wrapped the head stock and neck in towels. Now I can see why these are so coveted. Will be keeping my eye out for a T-40.

That's some high-class Peavey. The bladed pups look really great in there, I usually don't prefer how they look in T40s.

Thanks! Saved me a search.

On the sushi front. A co worker and I used to go have it once a month years ago. Neither of us could afford it. Always walked out full and a C note poorer.
If your at a good bar always get a scallop shooter!

Now I just need to ride Jason (bass strings online) for my order... Or just go find a 5 string set. Will use the ATK again for rehearsal tomorrow. Unless the guitar player is still sick.
Look forward to rolling this out and see how this unit works with the songs we have on tap. This could turn into #1 if the setup works well after tuning it to B.

One of, if not the best, sushi chefs in the world, uses frozen fish. Fish goes from market into a commercial grade blast freezer until its like negative 80 or some craziness. Let me find that dudes name. He was super big in NY until he moved back to Tokyo... Can't think what his name was right now...
