Sweet, good to know. I've thought about ordering from them a few times...but never went through with it. Thanks guys. I have to check out Witchcraft, heard alot about them lately.

I'm trying to start a stoner/metal/doom type of band right now. Similar to HOF, Mastodon and Keelhaul...I'm having a hard time finding members though. Seems like everyone around here wants to play tired old-school hardcore stuff or covers. Its lame.

I find it both funnny and sad that Nick was kicked out for "excessive partying". I mean he must go to some CRAZY parties to get kicked out of QOTSA for partying....

Ive been digging Kinski , Mono , and The Sleeping People lately, i'd put them in this genre.

One of the greatest/most original Stoner bands I've heard is Witchcraft! They get a real authetic sounds playing with real retro gear, nothing they play was made past the 70s. Plus instead of trying to be the heaviest, they take the melodic aspects of doom to the extreme!

Sounds VERY cool!

Also, BIGELF are highly recommended, all vintage gear and tunes that hit the meeting ground between Deep Purple, Sabbath and The Beatles.

That article is a little sketchy. "Convinced that is was true." You would think there would be more information on that if it were true.

That reminds me, I finally checked out some High on Fire. I love their older stuff... because it grooves and is trippy like Sleep. Blessed Black Wings is too straight forward heavy for me.
