Deep
at least you know they are stoner rock.First of all this band's website is awesome. Their music is equally great...I'll definitely be getting into these guys. Good one, thanks!nad said:been listening to Colour Haze for a few months now, they are fookin' ace. sort of like Kyuss meets The Who.

Lucifer Was sounds pretty great.Matt Till said:Hmm, in the vein of Pentagram, there was a band called "Lucifer Was" in the 70s. They are kinda like Black Sabbath meets Jethro Tull.
Have you listened to much Saint Vitus or the Obsessed? Wino's original bands. "Born too Late" and "V" are awesome Saint Vitus albums, the only Obsessed album I love is "The Church Within" but it's wicked!
Pearls & Brass: Very Clutch esque... don't know how easy it is to find their stuff.
Monster Magnet: Specifically the "25...tab" album. I heard it was the stuff that was too drawn out/trippy for the first album. Which was drawn out/trippy on it's own, so you know thats good!
Acrimony: I'm pretty sure they are Welsh... I forget though. Doom metalish, really big on Sleep.
Witchfinder General: If you like Pentagram, you'll like these guys, very similar... great lyrics too, "Look out for me... lets trip on LSD."Deep

Listening to the Melvins right now. Also been spinning a lot of Wino lately, Spirit Caravan in particular. Orange Goblin, more Colour Haze, and Kyuss of course.
I've been on a massive stoner kick for almost 2 years now, the only thing that really shakes me from it is Pearl Jam, Neurosis, and Meshuggah.
