Strangest celebrity encounter you've had?

One Day i was out getting ice cream D: and i saw a big shadow. So i looked over and it was John Paul Tremblay .(Julian from Trailer Park Boys). He was out getting ice cream with his son. I said hey and had a little conversation with him. He's a really nice guy. Since then i have seen him one more time and I've also seen Mike Smith. (Bubbles) All i need to do is meet Rob Wells (Ricky) Then I shall be happy.

I was a urinal at work a few weeks ago when the door burst open and I heard dancing feet, hesitating because the only other urinal is one of those handicapped models, and the stalls were occupied.
Then he came over and started peeing like a racehorse, moaning and saying "oh, I waited too long - aaah, etc."
I glanced over, and it was Michael Strahan, (NY Giants Defensive End) 6'5" man using a shorty urinal was pretty loud and funny, so I couldn't resist, and said "watch out, the water's cold".

Some day I'll tell you about Dr. John, or Dr Ruth. I've got lots of stories.
Oops, told that one already. I got drunk with Robert Johannsen and Peter Wolfe an McSorley's Ale house one night.

I slowed to a stop sign on my block and there passing in front of me goes snoop dog by himself in a old impala looking car. He just looks right at us as he passes and goes on his way. I sat at the stop sign for about 30 seconds then looked at my friend and said, "that was snoop dog". He looks back at me and says, "shieeeeeet". Then we continued on our way to burger king.

I really thought you were going to say he peed on you..

I've actually met numerous celebs.. I usually don't think much of it when it happens, but don't have any problems striking up a conversation with them if opportunity permits!

The first real celeb I met was Gene Hackman, back when I used to bus tables at ZIA Diner in Santa Fe NM.. He used to come in there regularly and I talked to him 3 or 4 times I think.. That was like 16 years ago.. Nice guy, talked with him about Santa Fe Ski Area compared to Colorado slopes where I'm from..

Here in LA I've run into the following names that I can think of right off the bat:

Carrie Fisher
Mel Gibson -(sat next to him at an event and offered him a piece of gum. he declined)
Ozzy Osbourne
Christian Slater
Michael Rosenbaum -(shook his hand at 3rd st. and told him I liked his show, he thanked me)
CC Deville -(met him in person, and I started singing BelBivDevoe's "Poison" for an unknown reason.. He probably wondered W.T.eF?)
Calista Flockhart
Tom Clancy.. Jerk.. -(had an argument with him at an "event" over the fact that I was wearing a hat.. What he didn't seem to care about was that I was wearing the hat to cover a Halloween hair accident that involved liquid latex!!)
Johnny knoxville
And random others I cannot think of right now...

No, I'm not an agent or involved in show business, and no I don't chase after celebs.. I've just had an uncanny habit of being in the same places as celebs throughout different times in my life! Though there are a few of the names in that previous list that I ran into at special events.. Others, like Michael Rosenbaum for instance I just ran into in public at the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica..

In LA you have a very high chance of running into celebs if you have a life and get out of the house!

I don't know if these qualify as strange, but here goes...

1) Simon Kirk, the drummer for Bad Co., is sitting in the lobby of the Riverwalk Hilton in San Antonio. My friend wants an autograph, but she's too scared. (We're 16 at the time.) So I go up and ask him and explain, yada yada. He was really nice. He wanted to buy me a drink, which ticked off his lady, but when I told him how old I was, he got me a Coke instead, and sat talking with me about music for quite a while.

2) I was on a date with this guy, and we run into Eric Johnson (the guitarist) on 6th Street. My date kinda knows him. As I extend my hand to introduce myself, my ******** date grabs me, throws me over his shoulder so that my whole backside is exposed to Eric (I'm wearing a miniskirt), and tells him my name and that he's taking me home. Oh no you are NOT!!! Not after you embarrassed me in front of Eric Johnson!!!

3) I was in Sound Exchange on the Drag (great record store, but is gone now). I was looking for old AC/DC disks. So was Ricky Williams. We both reached for the same album, and bonked heads. We had a good laugh, bemoaned the fact that we couldn't find what we really wanted, and then his girlfriend got impatient and he had to go.

4) Hubby and I ran into Harry Anderson and a bunch of the guys from 2nd City down on 6th one night. They'd just come out of a restaurant. They saw us coming, and stopped us to ask where the best comedy club was. So we sent them to the Velveeta Room.

5) Guy Fiero was right next to us at Southen Culture On The Skids this year, at the Continental. My husband looks at him and says, "Hey, aren't you in a band or something? You look familiar." And I go, "No, honey...he cooks on tv!" So we chatted for a few minutes, and then enjoyed the show. At encore time, he and I both screamed for "Soul City". And they played it!

Cherie :-)

This is almost unfair for those of us that live in or near LA as we have them all in our backyard. Sounds like name dropping but it's not douchebaggerous nor braggadacherous.

You said weird or strange...so....

Singer of old band nearly ran over Ahrnold in a parking lot (slammed brakes, missed him walking by inches)

Opened door almost into Corey Feldman's car (Pathfinder) and he yelled at me until he saw that I was 6'5 and about 220lbs at the time. He's a midget, and talentless musician.

Watched a member of SugarRay piss into a toilet while a girl did coke off the seat at the playboy mansion. (Not mark M.)

While still at the mansion, watched 2 girls un-suck-cessfully treat a guy that ended up crying when then laughed and walked away (don't do coke ladies and gentlemen).

Had CC Deville jump on my back at the Rainbow (just having fun).

Watched Ron Jeremy pick up a random hot girl, which if you ever see him makes no sense, big shwanse or not.

Saw the most hugest del grande ever pile of coke (not my style) at madonna's house (madge was not happy about it).

I was wearing all black and had Michael Douglas ask me to park his car as I was walking in a parking lot on Canon Drive (Bev Hills). He felt so badly he bought me a slice of pizza at Mulberry's and was a very down to earth guy.

Got yelled at by the actor Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) for no reason and yes, I yelled back (nearly a fight).

Jack Nicholson also wanted to sleep with a girlfriend of mine and said that I could come along. (no, I can't handle that truth, nor did she go)

Had to get away from Dennis 'the worm' Rodman as his breath was so bad and I really was not in the mood to dance. He liked me and my tall (6'1) female friend, but I think me more. He downed a 5th of Jager that night, quickly, and was rocked.

way more but you are probably bored.

Was he rollin' down the street, smokin' Endo, sippin' on gin&juice, with his mind on his money and his money on his mind?

:hiding::D:ninja::D:hiding:

Sorry...just couldn't resist...;)

I got some backstage passes to a HORDE tour show from King Crimson....St. Louis in the mid 90's. So I'm talking with Adrian Belew for a bit, we sit at a picnic table and continue talking. Mostly music small talk stuff, I mentioned I wanted to bring my copy of Lone Rhino to have him sign but I didn't trust that the album would make it back home in good condition. He said to take good care of it because they lost the masters! I'm mostly oblivious to who else is at the table. Adrian kind of veered off topic and took a slight jab at the abilities of the drummer with Lenny Kravitz. He briefly looked down the table and smiled, but that was it. I thought it was strange but whatever.

The sun starts to fall, I head up the hill to watch the rest of the show, Lenny Kravitz comes on and I see that the drummer is this tall skinny lady that was sitting across from me when I was talking to Adrian, Cindy Blackman.

Bump this thread up for another King Crimson encounter of sorts. I was at the concert tonight in Nashville, the set had just started when an usher comes up to the row I'm in with someone to fill the seat beside me (it was open seating). I notice this guy checking his cell phone and look over the next chance I get and see none other than Victor Wooten. Didn't say a word to him the whole night, partly because I wasn't 100% sure, also I'm never one to bother people in public, but it was quite odd indeed. Fantastic show as well, really great.
