Double Bass String quintets with bass

I reckon you'd probably have to contact the composer directly in order to find the score to this one.

This is for an extra cello. Don't know if the part could be played by a bassist, but I like it.

Paul Nemeth has an excellent database for these kinds of questions.

If you want to stay in the classical vibe, the quintets from George Onslow are really great.

Isang Yun's Tapis is also very nice. The Hindemith 8 Pieces are fine, but maybe not his best work.

For living composers, you might enjoy Jon Deak's Lucy and the Count. It's fun, but not always an appropriate choice. Would be really perfect for a children's concert or a Halloween program.

I really like Richard Barrett's Khasma, but it's also crazy and has nothing to do with Dvorak. That needs a sound system for the electronic playback, and it should be played with a clicktrack.
