Stu Hamm Hears Vulfpeck For The First Time

You were slaking the player, not the band. Do what you want, but it doesn't impress anyone. You'd think this thread would clearly show you that.
I dunno what "slaking" is, but I only ever mentioned vulfpeck and a signature bass. You brought up the the player and I responded. Best check those previous posts

Also, what's up with having an opinion on talkbass? Kinda feels like the mean girls clique where you all have to like the same shade of lipstick.

Y'all ALL bit the algorithm, as did I. I laughed. They won, got views, and made money (AGAIN). I own [what was initially] his '86 Kubicki, EX-Factor (Canary Yellow), and won't hate it because of this.
Chill, and play bass, my Brothers, and Sisters.

Peace.
I feel like this got glossed over... You own the bass from The Urge album cover?

Anyway, the band is just a cheap clone of Tower Of Power.
"Hey guys, have you ever wondered what TOP would sound like quantized and sterilized? Let's start a project!"

"But what shall we wear?"

"Well, I just saw this old film called Revenge Of The Nerds..."

But are any of us in TalkBass as high profile/famous/meme-worthy as Stu Hamm, hmmm?

I hate to say it, but I agree with the comments section that Stu DID look like a grandma. That haircut was NOT doing him any favors. And this is the Internet age where how you appear on camera/screen is pretty important.

Even back in the 60s it was important. Note the Kennedy-Nixon presidential debate. Kennedy had makeup on and looked more poised on TV than sweaty, fidgety Nixon, so those who had TVs thought he won. But those who heard the debate on the radio thought Nixon won because he had the better talking points.
