Stuff you hate that young people like.

No need to bring my education into this. Your post was challenging to read. I stated that, I never insulted you.

There is a fine line between funny, sarcasm and getting personal.

You might want to work on your grammar, young Padawan.*

Also, it wasn't challenging to read, it was damn-near impossible to figure out what kind of hat he was talking about, since he evidently didn't take into account that there may in fact be many different kinds of stupid looking headwear. Rest easy, you've got better TalkBass capitalization and punctuation skills than he does.

*You'd need a semi-colon between "I stated that" and "I never insulted you." for them to be one sentence. :p

i hate it when people notice that someone likes something different and not what you would call "cool" but more interesting. then nonconformity comes into fashion and they start liking the same things as the individual so in a way he loses his individuality and they in a struggle to break from conformity are in a way just conforming to another thing.

why must we all like the same things? is that wrong to have and embrace your own likes?

Machete, the use of the term conformity in its different from was exciting.

But I agree totally. I.E., wearing the belt outside the pants. Probaly started by a teen somewhere to be different. Everyone else caught on, and he just dug deeper into the "Barbie Effect."

Jordasch, take a chill pill, man. ;)

I also agree the bit about people's lack of cellphone manners. I have no problem with the phones, or texting, or anything (I do a lot of it, and am attached to my phone), but you can at least be polite, and remember that the person can hear you just fine WITHOUT YOU HAVING TO TALK VERY LOUDLY.

with the satelite/internet world any new or newish style gets around the globe really fast....there is very little that is unique out there,at least not for long..

the one thing that does remain constant is the multitude of guys who sell the same notion of unique(ness) to millions of kids who don't really see the irony in all of it........

about five minutes after the hippy types donned their thrift store costumes, factories were tooling up to sell the mass produced freekwear........

now id bet the styles the kids wear are dreamed up in boardrooms, and marketing being what it is,the kids are sold into believing that they are somehow unique
