Shall I change my pickguard to black? Leave it white? Peel carrots?
(And NO! I will not go tort!)
Boredom? Lack of a better project? Gaping void in my life?
I've been pondering the same for a few years now... it's still white, and I don't even notice it while playing
Be original - make a custom pg from a laminate like formica.
I'd dig that on a solid bass. I think that's why I dont like tort on sunburst (Sorry Father, I have sinned) 2 patterns is too busy!
Yup, me neither!
Black white black white.
carrots or anodized gold.
If it ain't broke...
White pearl would add some pizazz without changing the look of the bass. Of course this is IMHO.
Another perfect opportunity for the yet-to-be-developed TalkBass Pickguard Picker app!
C'mon, folks... someone with the technical smarts please get on this!
i voted black...because that's what i always do. but i have to say that the right tort might actually look good.
long live black!
Generally my philosophy for most matters....
Got white pearl on my other bass! I'll take pearl over tort any day
Great idea! If they can do it for eyeglasses....
White is great
Be careful, you'll need to drill hole; you have one of those Squier which doesn't use a standard pickguard. You may also have to adapt around the pickup cuting.
Can you provide a close up picture of your headstock please? I'm intrigued; thanks!
I like Parchment.....
