Be original - make a custom pg from a laminate like formica.
I'd dig that on a solid bass. I think that's why I dont like tort on sunburst (Sorry Father, I have sinned) 2 patterns is too busy!
White pearl would add some pizazz without changing the look of the bass. Of course this is IMHO.

i voted black...because that's what i always do. but i have to say that the right tort might actually look good.

Be careful, you'll need to drill hole; you have one of those Squier which doesn't use a standard pickguard. You may also have to adapt around the pickup cuting.
