Stupid things you've done as a bass player?

Sold waaaaay too much gear because I thought I was "retired".
Having to scramble to find new gear because apparently I've unretired.
Spending waaaaay too much money on the rockstar lifestyle.
Spending waaaaay too much time on the rockstar lifestyle.
Spending too much time thinking I was a whole lot better than I was.
Burned bridges due the the previous issue.
Playing a show where I decided it would be a good idea to take off my pants. Mid-song I realized that my dong was hanging out.
Not recording more ideas that I had only to forget them the next day.

Well, my biggest brain fart ever sort of falls under this category. I once sold a '78 jazz that is by far the best bass I've ever owned.. to buy live rock for a reef tank. I traded the most beautiful instrument I've ever owned TO 200LBS OF BLOODY ROCKS!!
And when the electric bills started coming in I sold the damn tank few years later.
Can anyone top that? Dream bass to a pile of rocks?

Falling asleep while playing a George Strait song... woke up and didn't know where I was in the song (Jeeez... was the the solo or last verse?) The guy I was playing with was a drunken bore.......... and I wasn't digging the Country scene but I liked the $$
Hmmm...sold a silverface early 1970s Bassman 50 for $100, and gave away a blackface version of same amp.
...while filing a tiny high spot on a fret on my 4000 I nicked the lower horn point with the end of the file..ARRRGGGHHHH!
....bothered wasting time adjusting my amp to get a tone I liked when I knew the douche of a soundman would just turn off my channel anyway...

Tried to jump up (a la Pete Towshend). Always remember, basses are pretty heavy. When I came down, the strap came off, the bass fell straight down and almost broke my foot. In a fit of semi-drunken rage, I kicked the amp.....that DID break my foot! Ahhhhhhhh, to be young again!
Blowing up my first head by pulling the speaker cord out of the cab while it was on.
Running through SO MANY basses for no good reason.
Not hesitating to whip out a credit card to pay for them.

Sold my 1972 Fender Fretless Precision, white with black pickguard, rosewood neck, to some jackass in the University of Michigan Jazz Band.......................................to pay for classes at Michigan State University!!!

I've been thinking about pawning some of my less-used (but still cherished) gear to pay off student loans.
But then I realized a kidney would go out the door before any of that happened. It will be my house/apt., car, and gear. I don't need anything else.
I got too drunk at a gig and realized I didn't have enough time to sober up. I still did decent but I was ashamed and not proud of myself. It didn't help the drummer was drunk as well. 
Trusting my guitar player to load my brand new bass in the back of the truck...it fell off the truck and was missing for two days.
