The MKII is made in China, that’s the big cost saver. All parts are the same, designed and overseen by the old horse himself. There’s a whole discussion on it in the Amps section. Personally I don’t really care much where it’s made, as long as there is no exploitation involved. I will get this pedal as soon as I can get it.

The only issue I see here, a minor one, is the input jack on the wrong side, like the old Fuzz Faces.
Odd choice for a modern pedal designed for a modern pedalboard. But the value is incredible for the price.

I too prefer made in the USA, when ever possible, but since Mesa is offering a 3 YEAR Warranty AND Agedhorse designed and approved the construction/manufacturing of the pedal for $200, I’m comfortably in…ordered!

the proud phrase "Made In Petaluma, CA, USA With The World's Finest Materials" on the back is no more ...... not saying it's not a quality product, (i have not test driven it yet) I'm sure it's a good product and good decision for the parent Co.
I wonder if the proud phrase will start disappearing across the board.

Mesa announce release of Subway+ preamp DI II " Gentlemen you had my interest".

And it's only 200 dollars? "But now you have my attention".

Just when my GAS was almost non-existent. This just had to come out. Ordering one today. Got a feeling my amps effects return is going to be seeing a lot of use in the near feature.
