I've got the Line 6 Bass POD XT Pro and FBV longboard. The board has 5 programmable channels - 1 fave, A B C D - 3 programmable stomp boxes, 2 programmable amp simulators and more. I find it rather impressive.

I've had the ME50B which really didn't do a good job and I wouldn't recommend it so perhaps neither the ME20B... You can get a used GT6B for less than a new ME50B though and that thing WOULD be my first pick if I HAD to make one. It's got a real nice Fuzz done that comes alive when you mix some of the preamp models in, depending on your taste of course. Also the Octavers are nice in this one and the Compressors are okay too, not stellar but fine to use. I didn't like the Zoom stuff at all, it sounded like what it is: A cheap a$$ copy of everything but a master of none. ;-)

The Boss ME-50B has gotten a lot of love here on TB in the past. It has a knob for every fuction. It sounds great. It's very easy to use live. Adding a dual foot swtich makes it extremly easy to select patches and banks live.

The Zoom B3 has a lot of patches and possibilities, but is terrible for live patch selection.

I own both. The B3 almost never makes it out of the house.

Line 6 m series if you dont like the built in preset select method they all have midi in/out. Personally i use the m5 and never switch presets in the middle of a song. I have the presets set up for our set list so at the end of a song i just go to the next preset. No flipping through 24 presets to find the right sound. Without a midi pedal to select presets on the m5 you hit the on and tap tempo switched at the same time, select preset by toggling up an down then hit both at the same time again when your at the preset you want. To get to tuner just hold down tap tempo for 3 seconds. It was a bit awkward at first but know its all muscle memory.
