Wow, this is certainly the finest all-passive Jazz I've ever played (in 30 years). If you're familiar with Fender Custom Shop Jazz necks, love the early 60s J tone and appreciate the acoustics of a lighter weighted bass, I recommend auditioning one of these. A worthy companion to my Sadowsky NYC.

If anyone heard anything about a Suhr P-Bass? John was talking about introducing a model this fall on podcasts, but there doesn’t seem to be one on the horizon. An email inquiry I sent about this was unanswered.

Hi,
I try a Suhr Classic J today.
The neck profil neck was so nice, the sound great.
I liked the bridge with the possibility to set the string spacing (i like the 20/21 mm string spacing).
I prefer the 70's pick up position than the 60's.
Sounds great in slap too...
Does anyone have a Suhr bass with 70's pickup position ?

Hi,
I see on the bridge Suhr bass (a lot of them like your bass on the photo), that you can choose the string spacing !
I like to play with 20mm/21mm instead 19 mm traditional string spacing.
Has anyone tried this bridge with a wider string spacing?
Does it work well?
