Here's a simpler idea. There is no rule that says a non-bass entry can't have a component in the bass register. So can I have a single entry for a "band-in-a-box" in the non-bass category. This would satisfy all of my goals:

• make life easy on the volunteer(s)
• trigger all of the other goof-balls
• confuse and/or entertain everyone else

I will do what @Beej wants, based on the first point.

It is a special kind of plywood that where all the grains are aligned to be "bendy" in one direction. It is used in art deco furniture and curved cabinetry. I use it for the perimeters of my hollow builds. It is ugly until covered by veneer.

You aren't seeing things. Yep, that's a rout for a 5 string MM pickup, in the bridge position. Gonna use a Delano hybrid 5, and "create" a SHS. It'll try to be like an EBMM Old Smoothie, but... an HS, and... with the ability to split the bridge PUP into a single coil. Call me crazy, but... I think it'll be fun.




Oooooooooorrrrrr... it'll totally suck. Guess we'll see.

Here is my submission in the Partial Build category. We barely have a theme, so I barely have a name. Maybe I'll come up with something clever (not likely) or steal something from somewhere and not give anyone credit.

I'll get my threads started sometime this week: one will be a Not-A-Bass (won't even have strings ) though it plays in the bass register, the other will be finishing up a previous WBO (2019?) bass which I guess will count as a parts build.
