Summer Build Off 2022 - Get Ready!

Wenge is terrible for doohickeys unless you like getting a splinter every time you play with it.

I don't think my wenge is doohickey grade. I've got some purple heart, though...
I made a WhatsIt out of Wenge and Purpleheart (and aluminum). Sanded and buffed with Howard's Feed-n-wax, theres no splinters.

My chainsaw is too small for that
What size chainsaw?
I have one with an 18" bar (forget the engine size) and I've swapped in a 20" bar and chain for a few bigger trees. I wouldn't try a 24" or anything crazy, but it didn't mind the 20" at all.
I want to make an Alaskan mill for mine at some point. I keep the 18" on it, but I'll use the 20" if using it in a mill.
