Summer Build Off 2022 - Get Ready!

I'm out for the summer o' fun. When I get a break from all the homestead work I'm currently up to my neck in, I have to finish 2 unfinished instruments and then see if they actually play decent and if I'm worth my salt as a builder, or if I should give it up and take up basket weaving. Or button collecting. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Anyway, I'll also be cheering and provide the occasional wisecrack, as needed.

Take up basket weaving and weave a gig bag?

I still haven't finished my WBO project, but that won't stop me from starting another one. I've never finished anything before, why start now?

You absolutely want to start now, so that you can fail to finish when you’re done!

I just bought a body blank that's big enough for a Strat for peanuts which will probably be a precursor project to the next WBO. A little unusual though. Details at 11 (that means November).
Wait... you can BUY body blanks?! I've been doing it wrong the whole time!?

I'm in and going to attempt a scratch build off the tailgate of my truck (only slightly exaggerating). It will actually be out of a storage unit and a 12ft cargo trailer with tools powered by a generator:roflmao:

I need a distraction to keep me sane while trying to complete my dissertation so why not sign up for something i've never attempted with limited tools and a deadline... Yep. Sounds perfect!:hyper:

Best of luck, everyone!
